The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) will help countries of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the SADC Secretariat itself in their endeavours to strengthen industrial and trade development through related strategy advice and capacity-building support.

An agreement on this was signed today by the UNIDO Managing Director of the Regional Strategies and Field Operations Division, Wilfried Luetkenhorst, and the SADC Executive Secretary, Tomaz Augusto Salomao.
